is actively involved in the clinical development of new compounds
coming from the research pipeline of the SERVIER GROUP. This
represents an important and a very fast growing investment
of the company in the country.
Over the past few years, this work has resulted in Indian
evidence for all our products. Till date we have 17 publications,
all in indexed journals. These past projects and our current
projects have involved totally 1600 doctors and 7500 patients
across the country.
Investments include epidemiological surveys
to learn more about the prevalence and manifestation of various
diseases in India as also clinical projects carried out in
partnership with reputed teams from all over the country like
those from AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences)
or NIMHANS (National Institute of Mental Health & Neurological
Sciences). Above and beyond scientific advances, this involvement
also contributes to the development and the notoriety of Indian
scientists abroad since this extensive work leads to publication
in renowned international journals These partnerships with
various institutions all around the country that have been
set up ensure that India is associated with the development
of the drugs of tomorrow, and benefits from a larger exposure
and knowledge in research.
SERDIA is currently involved in various studies
with new compounds in the field of Neurology, cardiology and
